The system sounds great, BUT I AM GETTING A INCH FOR A BIGGER HEAD UNIT!!!. Then he had installed a professional audio SET-UP BEHIND THE SET- with 2 cross overs, 2 amps, and a SUB - very nice system 2009 - 2014 Ford F150 - Sync 2 to Sync 3 Upgrade (Everything you need to know) - Ok I thought I would start a thread to keep all the information needed to do this swap. I dont have to try and figure out how to set up the Navigation. After a lot of travel and car rentals Ive gotten used to Apple Car Play, get in an go. I want some warm bass, smooth mids, and crisp highs (dont we all). 2015 XLT SCREW, 8 Productivity Screen, No Sony, No NAV. Ive read page after page of threads and havent really gotten clear answers. I am not a techie, but here is what i do know about my TRUCKġ) originally is HAD THE OEM B&O AUDIO SYSTEM, then the ORIGINA OWNER had a PROFESSIONAL SYSTEM INSTALL with the following components.ġst HE HAS THE ZESUS - system little BLUE/GREY BOX- which i believe its use to ALLOW AUDIO EQUIPEMTN TO WORK WITH FACTORY SYSTEM 2009 - 2014 Ford F150 - CarPlay Upgrade - Ive been somewhat happy with my Stock Stereo. Stereo/Audio - 2015 F-150 Sound Upgrade Basics - Just got my 2015 XLT Screw, 1st priority is the sound upgrade. My truck is more complicated so looking for input!! I bought truck USED 2019 with a shit ton of UPGRADES. He removed all the seats, the center console, and the lining of his cab and doors to expose the frame. Of course i am scared like shit to upgrade and then LOSE MY FACTORY STIRING WHEEL CONTROLS and CAMERAS!! While this first part consumed the most time, Ed knew that applying the sound-deadening sheets to the bare metal interior of the cab would quiet it down and bring out the most of the JL Audio upgrade.
